1. Who are your tutors?
All of our tutors are certified educators, many with special education credentials and classroom experience. They’re carefully selected for their ability to work with both neurodivergent and neurotypical students using personalized, evidence-based strategies.
2. Do you specialize in tutoring students with learning differences?
Yes. We specialize in working with students with ADHD, dyslexia, autism, and executive functioning challenges. However, we also provide academic support to any student who benefits from 1-on-1 instruction.
3. Where does tutoring take place?
Tutoring is offered in the comfort of your home or at a local public location such as a library or community center. We work with your schedule to find the most convenient and productive environment.
4. Do you offer virtual tutoring?
Not at this time. We focus on in-person support to ensure the highest level of engagement, structure, and consistency — especially for students who struggle with attention or executive functioning.
5. What subjects do you tutor?
We provide tutoring in reading, writing, math, and general academic support. We also focus heavily on executive functioning skills like organization, time management, and study strategies.
6. How is progress tracked?
We provide a written progress update every 20 hours of tutoring. For students on IEPs or 504 plans, we can align updates to academic and behavioral goals. Additional check-ins are available upon request.
7. What is the cost?
Neurodiverse Tutoring is $75 per hour, with sessions booked in 2-hour blocks. Monthly package plans are available at a discounted rate and include additional support features like weekly updates or strategy calls.Standard Academic Tutoring is priced at $55 an hour with Monthly package plans available at discounted rates.
8. How do I get started?
We begin with a comprehensive initial assessment ($150) that includes a 2–3 hour academic screening, a family intake, and the development of a personalized learning plan. You’ll then be matched with a tutor based on your child’s needs and goals.
9. Do you work directly with schools or IEP teams?
Yes. We can communicate directly with teachers or special education teams (with parent consent) to align instruction and support IEP/504 goals. We also offer a full IEP Audit for $299.
